Geographically, it falls into the Trans-Himalayan region, which refers to the land lying beyond the Himalayas. For a traveller, visiting Ladakh is an altogether different experience. Though the region is huge in area and has only a small population, it has a number of tourist attractions to draw in visitors.

Leh is the capital and the main town of Ladakh. This is the perfect place from where you can explore the people, culture and tourist attractions of Ladakh. Being a neighboring country, Tibet has influenced the culture and lifestyle of the Ladakhis to a great extent.
