Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

    You will be received at the Delhi international airport by Max Holidays representative, where he will meet and greet you, and assist you to transfer to your pre booked hotel for night stay.

  • Day 02 : Delhi sightseeing

    Our very knowledgeable guide will take you to discover the historical beauty of the city. The first sight will be Qutub Minar complex which houses many interesting monuments like Qutub Minar whose construction was started by Qutb al-Din Aibak by the end of the 12th century later it was completed by the Iltutmish. Near the Qutub Minar, Aibak also built a mosque called Quwat-ul-Islam. In the same complex also see Ilahi Darwaza, which was added as a gateway to mosque by Ala-ud-Din Khilji. After that, drive past Red Fort to reach Jama Masjid built by the “Engineer King” Shah Jahan. Spend some time in the bustling market near Jama Masjid called Chandni Chowk or Moonlight Square. Later drive to New Delhi part, where we will visit Humayun’s Tomb which was built by Akbar at the instance of his mother between 1565 AD -1580 AD. We drive past the Parliament house and President’s Palace, stopping at war memorial India Gate for photography. Overnight stay is at hotel.

  • Day 03 : Delhi-Agra

    After breakfast, we drive to Agra, which came into prominence with the Lodhi’s who made the seat of Government and the site of their treasury, however this treasury was raided by the Mughal ruler Babur who defeated Ibrahim Lodhi in the battle of Panipat and established his empire in 1526 AD. On arrival check in hotel and after wash and change, proceed with your guide for half day sightseeing of Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Agra Fort built of red sandstone stands as a huge structure with gigantic walls, lofty gateways and octagonal towers was completed in eight years (1565-73).The Palaces within these forts were constructed on the hindu style with courtyards and pillars.

    Followed by a visit to Taj Mahal, which has been described as a “tear on the face of the eternity” by great Indian Poet Rabindra Nath Tagore. It was built by Shah Jahan, the great Mughal ruler who is also referred as the “engineer King” for his beloved wife Mumtaj. Taj Mahal is symmetrical from all the four sides. The entire structure is made of white marble imbibed with some precious stones.

  • Day 04 : Agra – Jhansi - Orchha

    Morning after breakfast, you will be driven to Agra railway station to board Shatabdi train to Jhansi. On arrival you will be met by our representative and drive straight to your hotel in Orchha - set on the bank of the Betwa River.

    The places of interests are Jahangir Mahal which was built by Bir Singh of Bundela dynasty in the 16th century. Also visit Ram Raja temple where lord Rama is worshipped as a King. Overnight stay is in one of the resort.

  • Day 05 : Orchha - Khajuraho

    Morning, we head to see the splendour of erotic temples of Khajuraho built by Chandellas from 950-1050 AD. The temples of Khajuraho are superb instances of Indo- Aryan architecture. On arrival in Khajuraho, check in hotel.

    After check-in, we leave for the temple tour of Khajuraho with our guide. The temple complex is segregated in Western & Eastern block of temple.

    Western Group of Temple : A boundary wall surrounds and protects the temples within this large rectangular complex and there is only one entry point. Here at the Western Group you will see some of the most sensational temples in the world.

    Eastern Group of Temple : A kilometer towards the east from the western group of Temples is the khajur sagar and the old village of Khajuraho. On one of the paths to the village is a modern whitewashed structure with a large orange - red statue within. The statue is still worshipped but is one of the oldest images to be found in khajuraho.he images is of hanuman, the monkey king who assisted Ram (of the Ramayana) through his travails in exile

  • Day 06 : Khajuraho – Panna National Park – Satna – Bhopal (Overnight Train)

    After breakfast drive to Panna National Park - A prime tiger-land Located in Vindhyan Hills in northern Madhya Pradesh. Panna Tiger Reserve is just 25 km from Khajuraho-a mere half an hour drive. Tiger sighting is always a matter of chance but regular sightings are reported. Cheetal, Sambar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Chowsingha, Langoor, Wildboar, Jackal, are frequently sighted.

    Evening transfer to Satna railway station to board overnight train to Bhopal.

  • Day 07 : Arrive Bhopal (By overnight train)

    On arrival you will be met by our representative who will escort you to your hotel. After lunch, spend the day at leisure. Explore the natural and historic beauty at your own. Overnight stay is at hotel.

  • Day 08 : Bhopal – Bhimbetka

    After breakfast, we leave for an excursion to Bhimbetka, the place which will take you to early Stone Age almost 35000 years back. It is covered with Vindhya mountain ranges and it has been discovered that there are almost 600 rock shelters. The Stone Age artists have painted these caves depicting their feelings like hope and fear. Some has brilliantly displayed the wild as well as tamed animals; it also shows the scenes of daily household chores. Later return to Bhopal for half day sightseeing of the city. Places of interest are Taj-up- Mashed (means the crown of Mosques, displays a good example of Mughal architecture), Shaukat Mahal and Sadar Manzil are the combination of Mughal and Hindu architecture, built in 18th century, Moti Masjid or the mosque of pearls was built in the 18th century by Sikandar Begum, daughter of Qudsia Begum, who was first woman ruler. Also visit the upper and lower lakes.Night stay at your hotel.

  • Day 09 : Bhopal – Sanchi – Indore

    Today morning, we leave for Indore one of the largest city of Madhya Pradesh, en route visiting Sanchi. The Stupa of Sanchi is the best specimen of the Buddhist architecture; it was erected by Ashoka in the 3rd century BC which was later enlarged on in the Sunga period. This stupa consists of the hemispherical dome containing the Buddhist relics. From here, continue our drive to Indore. On arrival check in hotel for night stay.

  • Day 10 : Indore - Mandu

    After breakfast at the hotel, we leave for half day sightseeing of Indore. Visit Rajwada (Old Palace). This 200 year old palace was built by Holkar dynasty is a combination of Maratha, French and Mughal architecture. Another palace to be visited is Lalbagh Palace which was constructed to celebrate the special occasions. Kanch Mandir or the temple made out of glasses also holds attraction for its visitors. Later drive to Mandu, and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel.

  • Day 11 : Mandu – Jalgaon

    Morning after breakfast, discover the forts and palaces in the city of life and joy - Mandu. Mandu is a tribute to the love of Baz Bhadur and his better half Rani Roopmati. Here we will visit Jahaz Mahal which means ship palace, built by Ghiyas-ud –din Khilji as his harem between the two artificial lakes, Munj Talao and Kapur Talao. Hindola Mahal which means swinging palace, was an audience hall, built during Ghiyas-ud –din Khilji reign. Places of interest here are Champa Baoli, Dilawar Khan's Mosque, the Nahar Jharokha (tiger balcony). Visit Rewa Kund a water reservoir was constructed by Baz Bhadur to provide adequate water to Rani Roopmati Palace. Also visit Baz Bhadur’s Palace. Later drive to Jalgaon also known as The Banana capital, as has a vast production of Bananas. On arrival, check in hotel for night stay.

  • Day 12 : Jalgaon - Aurangabad

    Morning, we visit Omkareshwara temple in Jalgaon, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parola Fort. Later drive to Aurangabad wonderful and en route visiting Ajanta caves which are the best examples of rock cut architecture, sculpture and paintings. There are thirty caves at Ajanta, some of them are single storied, and some are double storied while there are others which are over three storeys. Some caves are Viharas or monasteries for the monks to live while others are Chaitya- grihas or sanctuaries for the monks to worship their deities in perfect seclusion, and calm, and quiet atmosphere. Later drive to Aurangabad and check in hotel. Night stay at hotel.

  • Day 13 : Aurangabad Sightseeing – Ellora (Excursion) - Aurangabad

    Morning breakfast at the hotel and later leave to Ellora to see the caves which are about thirty four in number. Curiously enough some are Buddhist caves, some Brahmanical while the others are Jain caves. These caves were excavated for the use of the monks during the rainy season. As such they are made in ideal natural surroundings far from the madding crowds. Return to Aurangabad to see Bibi ka Maqbara which is a tomb of Aurangzeb’s wife Begum Rabia Durani. Also visit Daultabad Fort and Aurangabad caves. Evening, we return to hotel for night stay.

  • Day 14 : Aurangabad-Mumbai by Flight

    Today morning you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for Mumbai. On arrival you will be received by our representative, who will assist you to your hotel. Later after wash and change enjoy the sightseeing of Mumbai. Visiting the Elephanta caves, Gateway of India, Prince of Wales museum whose architecture is the collaboration of Gothic and Moorish styles houses a remarkable collection of the artifacts of Indus Valley Civilization dating back to 2500 BC. Next stop will be at a Gateway of India which is very near to the museum. It was built in the year 1911 to welcome King George and Queen Mary.

  • Day 15 : Leave Mumbai

    Today in the meantime you will be transferred to the International airport to board your flight back to home.
