Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrive Chennai

    Welcome to Chennai, the gateway city of South India. Get welcomed by the Company's representative, who will receive you with a smile and then escort you to the hotel.

  • Day 02 : Mahabalipuram

    Your tour of Chennai takes you to Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleswarar Temple, Marina Beach and Vivekananda House. In the afternoon, drive to the temple city of Mahabalipuram situated on the sea shore.

  • Day 03 : Kanchipuram

    Depart for the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. This city is listed in the UNESCO's list of 'World Heritage Sites'. You will visit Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathas, Kotikal Mandapam, Krishna's Butter Ball and Shore temples. Then enjoy excursion tour of Kanchipuram which is one of the seven sacred cities of Hindus filled with temples. Visit temples in Kanchipuram and then return back to Mahabalipuram for night stay.

  • Day 04 : Pondicherry

    Head to Pondicherry which was once the French Colonial town and still bestows the same culture. Pondicherry is famous for its Auroville Ashram, founded in 1926 by a French woman and Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus.

  • Day 05 : Thanjavur

    Depart to Thanjavur which is being dotted with no fewer than 74 temples, the most famous of which is the Brihadeeswarar Temple. Also visit Tanjore Palace – Still the royal family of Marathas who resides in this palace and Saraswathi Mahal Library.

  • Day 06 : Trichy

    Today, leave for Tiruchchirappalli, situated on the banks of river Kaveri it was the Chola citadel during the Sangam Age. Enjoy tour of Trichy visit The Rock Fort Temple situated at a height of over 23 mts and the Jambukeshwara Temple. The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is a must visit temple.

  • Day 07 : Madurai

    Proceed for Madurai, a 2500 years old city and an important cultural and commercial center in 550 AD, Evening, visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, one of the major attractions of Madurai.

  • Day 08 : Madurai

    We will depart for a morning guided tour of Madurai. One can chose to visit the Meenakshi Temple early mourning to witness the prayers, Gandhi memorial museum, Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, Koodal Azhagar Temple and Saint Mary's Cathedral - One of the oldest Roman Catholic churches in India.

  • Day 09 : Periyar

    Drive to Periyar, the wildlife and spice plantation hub of Kerala, nestled in spice and rubber plantations. Settle down in the hotel. Afternoon, leave for boat cruise to view the jungle activities where you can spot elephants, wild boar, sambar, and deer coming on the shore of the Periyar Lake. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 10 : Kumarakom

    We depart to Kumarakom. Check into your backwater resort. After wash and change, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary spread in 14 acres wide and the largest back water in Kerala. Kumarakom is known for its migratory birds, coconut palms, never ending paddy fields, meandering lagoons and calm backwaters.

  • Day 11 : Alleppey

    In the morning after breakfast board your houseboat to cruise through the gorgeous backwaters of Kerala. This beautiful floating villa offers tastefully designed rooms, attached bathroom and toilet for the guests and a separate toilet for the crew. All meals and night stay will be in your comfortable houseboat.

  • Day 12 : Cochin

    Have a leisure breakfast onboard houseboat and disembark at Alleppey. From here, we drive to the Cochin (Kochi) the harbour city of Kerala. Reach Cochin and proceed for sightseeing tour visit Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets introduced by the Chinese explorer for fishing.

  • Day 13 : Wayanad

    We will leave for Wayanad enjoying the mystic quality of awe inspiring mountain views and the plantations coexist with the rich diversity of tranquil sub-tropical forests. After freshen-up and explore the scenic surroundings in Wayanad.

  • Day 14 : Bandipur National Park

    Morning, we depart for Bandipur National Park. Enroute visit Edakkal Caves (28 km), which are famous for its 5000 year old fascinating ancient rock etchings and drawings. Upon arrival Bandipur check in to the wildlife resort. In the evening enjoy the calm serenity of the forest resort.

  • Day 15 : Mysore

    Wakeup early in the morning and get ready for first jungle experience to spot the wildlife. Board the safari vehicle to explore the Bandipur National Park which is home to Leopard, Asiatic Wild Dogs, Stripped Hyenas, Jackals, Jungle Cats, Leopard Cats, Rusty Spotted Cats. After safari, head to beautiful city of Mysore for night stay.

  • Day 16 : Bangalore

    This morning we take in a guided tour of Mysore visit Mysore Palace an architectural wonder, Lalitha Mahal Palace, Brindavan Garden and St. Philomena's Church. Later drive toward India's silicon valley 'Bangalore'. Enroute visit Srirangapatana famous for Ranganathaswami Temple. Night in Bangalore.

  • Day 17 : Hassan

    Enjoy half day tour of the garden city of Bangalore visiting Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan Palace, Ganesha Temple, very famous Nandi Bull Temple, Lallbagh Botanical Garden. Later head to Hassan known as the architecture capital of Karnataka state. Enroute visit very important Jain centre at Shravanabelagola famous for 1000 year old and 17 meter high monolith of Lord Bahubali.

  • Day 18 : Belur & Helebid

    Start your tour with a visit to Hasanamba Temple which opens once in a year for a week before Diwali and closes on very next day. Later take an excursion tour to Belur and Helebid. In Belur, visit the beautiful Chennakeshava Temple. Again 17 kms ahead from Belur is another beautiful town called Helebid where you will visit the Hoysaleswara Temple.

  • Day 19 : Hospet

    Morning, check out from the hotel and drive to Hospet. On arrival at Hospet, short sightseeing tour and relaxed time at the hotel.

  • Day 20 : Hampi

    This morning explore the beautiful world of Hospet. Located in proximity to Hampi, one of the 'UNESCO World Heritage Sites' it is also known as the 'Rome of India'. The city of Hampi is full of surprises which includes the place like King's Balance, Hampi Bazaar, Vittala Temple and Virupaksha Temple.

  • Day 21 : Pattadakal, Aihole, Badami

    Hit the road to Badami. Enroute visit Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole, the first capital of Chalukyas is situated along Malaprabha River and offers temples dating back to 6th century CE. The group of 9 temples at Pattadakal are almost in single file. Some of the temples represent South India's Dravidian architecture. Afterward, head straight to Badami.

  • Day 22 : Goa

    Enjoy your tour of Badami which is famous for Rock Cut caves and temples consist of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist temples, Badami fort dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha. Once you finish your Badami tour, head straight to Goa to enjoy the spectacular beaches.

  • Day 23 : Goa

    Day is at leisure to enjoy the spectacular beaches of Goa or enjoy half day tour of Goa visiting magnificent temples, Old Goa churches (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Also enjoy cruise on Mandovi River.

  • Day 24 : Depart Goa

    Our trip ends after breakfast and it's time to say good bye. Catch your flight to onward destination.
