More than 50 different types of grasses are found here some of which can grow upto 8 mtrs. in height.

Among the various places offered by this Park, tourists love to explore Lake Lamital, Lake Devital, Bishajari Tal, Devghtdham and Kailashpuri (religious sites), Balmiki Ashram, Pandvnagar, a historio-religious site. Situated in Kasara, the headquarters of the park, is a museum which has enlightening displays. Also nearby attractions are Bikram Baba, a Hindu religious site and Gharial Breeding Center, which shelters Marsh Mugger and a number of turtles.
